What we do
Cobal has proudly been working with blue-chip companies, global brands, and leading architectural practices across the UK and EMEA for over 40 years to create inspiring and functional spaces that are both stunning and encourage productivity and collaboration.
We don’t just make signage, we innovate, create and make impactful, functional and visual signage, wayfinding, placemaking, wall graphics, glass manifestations, and workplace accessories.
Cobal is proud to have been chosen as the wayfinding supplier for many prestigious projects, including the Design Museum, The Library of Birmingham, The Gherkin, The Leadenhall Building, The Shard, Royal Courts of Justice, Gensler Head Office, BBC Television Centre, and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Headquarters in Canary Wharf. We are also proud to partner with corporate clients, including PwC, ICBC, CBRE, and Goldman Sachs, for whom we supply their corporate signage needs across EMEA.

We test, experiment, make and challenge, and our approach is unique to every project; we push our thinking, and we test our knowledge to surpass our client’s expectations.
Our skilled production team has an enviable level of experience of creating the highest quality signage and placemaking elements. From our manufacturing facility in Newbury, using a combination of the latest automated equipment and traditional hand techniques, we can manufacture bespoke signage from a wide range of materials, including woods, plastics and metals.

Sustainability at Cobal
Over recent years we have invested in equipment to both improve our capabilities and reduce our environmental impact. We are keen to ensure that we push the boundaries with environmental initiatives. We have been active in ensuring that we make improvements in the way we work to ensure that we are using less energy as well as only using environmentally responsible materials and products in our production process.
